LPkM-UMI Audience with the Regent of Maros, Preparing Location for KKN Batch 78

Maros, August 18, 2026— Indonesian Muslim University (UMI) through the Community Service Institute (LPkM) continues to finalize preparation for the implementation of Real Work Lectures (KKN) Batch 78 for the semester coming. One of the steps taken was an audience with the Government Maros Regency which took place onTuesday, August 18 2026, located atMaros Regency Regent's Office.

 

The hearing was attended byChairman UMI LPPKMtogetherHead of KKN CenterAndHead of the Assisted Village Center UMI. The group was received directly byRegent of Maros Regency, Mr. Dr. H. A. S. Chaidir Syam, S.IP., M.H., togetherHead of the Empowerment Service Community and Village (PMD) Maros Regency.

This meeting is an important part in building coordination and synergy between Indonesian Muslim Universities with the Maros Regency Government, especially in order to prepare the location implementation of KKN Class 78 in the coming semester.

In the hearing, it was discussed various matters related to the readiness of the KKN location, including coordination with the government areas and villages which will later become locations for student service. Synergy It is hoped that this will ensure that the implementation of KKN runs in a directed manner provide real benefits for the people of Maros Regency.

Through KKN activities, UMI students It is hoped that you will not only gain experience in implementing knowledge acquired during lectures, but also able to contribute directly in helping the community through various empowerment programs and devotion.

Cooperation and coordination It is hoped that there will be a relationship between LPkM UMI and the Maros Regency Government A good first step in successful implementationUMI Class 78 KKN, while strengthening the commitment of the Indonesian Muslim University in carrying out Tri Dharma of Higher Education, especially in the field of community service.

With a spirit of collaboration and service, UMI continues to be committed to providing real contributions to society and supporting regional development through innovative and appropriate KKN programs targeted, and sustainable.
