UMI lecturers provide legal counseling on the benefits of land legality and land conflicts in Jeneponto Regency

Legal Counseling on the Benefits of Land Legality and Land Conflicts in Jeneponto Regency as part of the 2024 Community Service Institution Activities at Indonesian Muslim University. The implementing team for this service activity is Dr. Asriati, SH., MH as Chair and Dr. Hj. Anggreany Arief, SH., MH as member. What is done by the chairman and members is to jointly participate in this service process so that community service activities can run as planned. Community service activities are carried out at the Bangkala District Head Office, which is located in Takalar Regency.

This service activity has been carried out in accordance with the schedule and details of activities that have been previously determined and agreed upon. The following is a series of times and activities that were carried out on Wednesday, September 4 2024 at the Bangkala District Head Office, Jeneponto Regency. After carrying out legal education activities on the benefits of land legality and land conflicts in Jeneponto Regency, various problems and obstacles were found, as follows: Lack of knowledge in the village community regarding land legality and land problems. This can be seen from several lands that have not been certified and there are several land conflicts in the community.

The compatibility between Land Legality and village fund planning and objectives is not yet appropriate, because not all village fund allocation programs are realized well. This is due to a lack of experience in good work planning. Based on the discussion, the following conclusions were drawn from this community service activity: Lack of knowledge in the village community regarding land legality and land issues. This can be seen from several lands that have not been certified and there are several land conflicts in the community.
