UMI lecturers provide legal counseling on the use of village funds in preventing corruption in Jeneponto
Legal Counseling on the Use of Village Funds in Preventing Corruption Crimes is carried out as part of the 2024 Community Service Institution Activities at the Indonesian Muslim University in the UMI Assisted Village scheme. The implementing team for this service activity is Muh. Zulkifli Muhdar, SH., MH as Chairman and Dr. Salmawati, SH.i, MH as members. What is done by the chairman and members is to jointly participate in this service process so that community service activities can run as planned.
Community service activities are carried out at the Bangkala District Head Office, which is located in Takalar Regency. This service activity has been carried out in accordance with the schedule and details of activities that have been previously determined and agreed upon. The following is a series of times and activities that were carried out on Wednesday, September 4 2024 at the Bangkala District Head Office, Jeneponto Regency.
In the activity "Legal Counseling on the Use of Village Funds in the Prevention of Corruption Crimes" the implementing committee invited the presenters, namely Muh. Zulkifli Muhdar, SH., MH. The next activity is a question and answer process related to the problem of using Village Funds in terms of preventing Corruption Crimes faced by training participants. This aims to understand the benefits of using Village Funds. Next, find the obstacles to the problem and how to find a solution to solve the problem. After the questions and answers were finished, the presenter gave a post-test, to measure the level of acceptance and understanding of the participants during this training activity.
Activity Evaluation: after carrying out counseling/training activities from the entire series of activity programs, participants will be evaluated: At the end of the coaching program, all participants are expected to understand and implement the program that has been obtained and explained in the training. After carrying out legal education activities on the use of village funds in preventing corruption, various problems and obstacles were found, as follows: Lack of knowledge in the village community regarding the use of village funds in preventing corruption and its problems. This can be seen from several uses of village funds in preventing criminal acts of corruption in the community. The compatibility between the use of village funds and the planning and objectives of village funds is not yet appropriate, because not all village fund allocation programs are realized well. This is due to a lack of experience in good work planning
