EDUCATION OF STANDARD OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES BASED ON EVIDENCE BASED NURSING HEART SCORE ASSESSMENT FOR NURSES IN THE ED. RS. IBNU SINA YW. INDONESIAN MUSLIM UNIVERSITY

PKM Indonesian Muslim University (UMI) Lecturers Target Improving the Quality of Health Services at Ibnu Sina Hospital Makassar.

The Community Service Team (PkM) of the Indonesian Muslim University (UMI) carried out friendly activities: Education on Evidence Based Practice Nursing (EBPN) Standard Operational Procedures, HEART Score Assessment at the Emergency Room (IGD) at Ibnu Sina Hospital, Makassar, Thursday, 13 November 2025.

This team, unlike usual, carries out direct activities in the community, instead choosing Ibnu Sinah Hospital Makassar as a partner. According to the PKM Team Leader Ns. Rahmat Hidayat S.Kep., M.Kep., Sp.Kep.MB. revealed that God willing, this activity will have an impact on society at large. Where if nurses carry out EBNP-based actions, the quality of hospital services will increase and ultimately patients will get the best service.

The PKM activity was welcomed by the Management of Ibnu Sina Hospital Makassar. Where during the question and answer session, the Head of Nursing at Ibnu Sina Hospital Makassar, Mrs. Ns. Andi Yuliana S.Kep., M.Kep. Revealed that this HEART Score Assessment would be very good if it could be used in the ER. God willing, he will bring this to the Hospital Leadership and Management Meeting so that this SOP can be made an official hospital SOP.

In the Discussion Session, the Head of the Emergency Room at Ibnu Sina Hospital also revealed several obstacles and problems in treating heart patients in the Emergency Room. At the end of the discussion, he hoped that this assessment could be a solution to the problems that occurred.
