
LPkM UMI Conducts Field MONEV in Borisallo Village, Gowa
LPkM-UMI, Makassar โ Indonesian Muslim University Community Service Institute (LPkM-UMI) carried out Internal Community Service (PKM) Monitoring and Evaluation (MONEV) activities in Borisallo Village, Parangloe District, Gowa Regency on Wednesday (06/09/2023).
This Internal MONEV activity was attended by the Head of the LPkM-UMI Innovation and Competitiveness Center Pratiwi Juniar A.G, ST., M.Sc., along with the Head of the KKN Center Ir. Muh. Yusri Lukman, ST., MT., P.hD, who was also accompanied by LPkM-UMI staff.
According to Pratiwi, the aim of MONEV is to see the progress of the activities carried out by the PKM lecturer team in Borisallo Village, led by UMI Lecturer, Dr. Ir. H. Ansarullah, ST., M.T., IPM, Asean Eng, as recipient of the KEMDIKBUDRISTEK DRTPM Service Grant Fund.
"Before the external Monev of the Directorate of Research, Technology and Community Service, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (DRTPM KEMDIKBUDRISTEK), this Internal Monev was an obligation that had to be carried out by LPkM UMI," he explained.

Based on monitoring, during the field visit, the Head of the PKM Implementation Team, Dr. Ir. H. Ansarullah, ST., M.T and their respective members, Ir. Muh Zainal Altim, ST., MT, UMI Lecturer and Dr. Siti Aisyah, SE., MM., Lecturer at Muhammadiyah University (Unismuh) Makassar, and assisted by several students, practiced directly with the residents of Borisallo Village, about the process of making wall panel material from chicken feather waste.
The process of making wall panel material goes through several stages, starting from the stage of collecting and selecting chicken feathers which have become waste from slaughtering local chickens. Then, the cleaning process, drying process, chopping process and panel formation process are carried out in accordance with the specified container. Once formed, the panel is dried again.
According to the PKM Team Leader, Dr. Ir. H. Ansarullah, ST., M.T, IPM, Asean Eng, accompanied by his members stated that the results of the chicken feather panels made by the residents, would be applied at the Borisallo Village Office, to make room dividers for PBB payments in order to improve services to the residents of Borisallo Village.
