
LPMD UMI Prepares KKN Kamtibmas Plan
UMI Makassar โ The Indonesian Muslim University (UMI) Community Service and Da'wah Institute (LPMD) held a workshop in the UMI LPMD Hall, this activity lasted two days, Tuesday-Wednesday (2-3/8).
This activity is an effort to prepare a concrete formulation or guide to achieving the vision and mission in the field of service by presenting several resource persons.
UMI Chancellor, Prof Dr Hj Masrurah Mokhtar MS said, the strategic plan for community service is a future planning activity through preparing service programs, preparing human resources and governance.
"The formula must be neatly arranged so that the objectives of the UMI institution as an educational and da'wah institution can be achieved," he said.
Prof. Masrurah, who is also the General Chair of BKS PTIS, hopes that the team that has been mandated will be truly disciplined and focused in preparing the LPMD strategic plan which consists of programs and activities that refer to PT excellence, global issues, national issues, the National RPJM and the tri dharma of higher education must be real.
Apart from that, Prof Masrurah also hopes that the LPMD will follow up on the national KKN and prepare a design for the Kamtibmas KKN in collaboration with the South Sulawesi Regional Police and Kodam VII Wirabuana.
