Growing Interest in Green Entrepreneurship through Green Economy to Develop Entrepreneurial Character

International PkM activities have been carried out by the UMI PkM team headed by Kirana Ikhtiari, SE., M.Ak, a lecturer from FEB majoring in accounting and Dian Pusvita Azis, SH, MH, a lecturer from the UMI Law faculty. The theme of this PkM is Green Entrepreneurship by fostering interest in green entrepreneurship through green economy to develop entrepreneurial character which is implemented at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Selangor, Malaysia. This activity collaborates with the Indonesian Students Association (PPI) Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia as a partner.

Green entrepreneurship is a business orientation that focuses on environmentally friendly economic activities and providing value to society. Green entrepreneurship provides many benefits related to environmental sustainability (SDGs), which is currently a global issue. However, the lack of public interest in this type of green business is one of the obstacles faced.

This service activity begins by holding an initial discussion with partners regarding the phenomenon that is occurring, then an agreement is made regarding the form of activity and implementation of activities that will be carried out with partners. This activity was carried out using two methods, namely online by holding an online seminar using the zoom application and providing direct training to students who are members of the UKM Indonesian Students Association (PPI) at the Tun Sri Lanang library of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Selangor, Malaysia. After participating in this activity, it is hoped that it will be able to grow partners' interest in becoming green entrepreneurs as a concrete form of supporting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
