DIGITAL-BASED LEARNING INNOVATION: UMI LECTURER PKM ACTIVITIESIN IMPROVING LEARNING METHODS AT SDN 21 SANGGALEA,MAROS DISTRICT

Lecturers at the Faculty of Public Health collaborate with Lecturers at the Faculty of EconomicsIndonesian Muslim University through funding from Community Service Institutions(LPkM) UMI has held community service activities for elementary school teachers21 Sanggalea District. Maros on Monday (8/9/2025). This activity aims to improvethe quality of teachers and students in the learning process, especially at SDN 21 Sanngalea, KabutenMaros.

This activity is a form of implementation of the Higher Education Tri Dharma programby providing education and assistance in using digital media to teacherscreating active, healthy, innovative and critical students. Digital Media Training for Teachersis training that introduces teachers to the use of technologydigital and interactive media in the teaching and learning process.

Head of UPTD SDN 21, Arifin Sanggalea expressed his gratitude forconcrete support from LPKM UMI. "This program really helps us in improvingquality of educational services.” he stressed.

As a form of commitment, the Service Team chaired by Dr. Arni Rizqiani Rusydi,SKM., M.Kes with members of Fyrdha Faradyba Hamzah SE., MM also handed over minisprojector, which can be used to support interactive learning activities inclass. "We want to be present directly in society, not only with theory, butwith real action that can be felt by teachers and students," explained the team leaderdevotion.

Through this activity, it is hoped that a healthier educational ecosystem will be built,safe and innovative. UPTD SDN 21 Sanggalea is also optimistic that collaboration like this will happenthe key to providing holistic education for children in the future.
