Training and Assistance in Writing Scientific Papers and Publications to Encourage Improving Teacher Quality at MTS Wihdatul Ulum Gowa

Gowa – Lecturer Team at the Faculty of Islamic Religion (FAI), Indonesian Muslim University (UMI) Makassar, carried out Superior Community Service (PKM), at MTS Wihdatul Ulum, Gowa Regency.

The PKM implementation team of the Faculty of Islamic Religion, UMI Makassar, is chaired by Dr. Hj. Rosmiati, M.Pd., Member DR. H.Akhmad Syahid M. Pd., as well as students Lutfiah and Kurniawan.

The title of this Featured PKM is: Training and Assistance in Writing Scientific Papers and publications to encourage improving the quality of teachers at MTS Wihdatul Ulum, Gowa Regency.


Chair of the UMI Flagship PKM Implementation Team, Dr. Hj. Rosmiati, M. Pd. said that the target participants were Madrasah Tsanawiyah Wihdatul Ulum teachers, Gowa Regency, who were used as service targets (PKM).

"Because this school is located in the village of the Indonesian Muslim University. The school is 60 kilometers from the campus which is located in Gowa Regency," said Rosmiati.

Dr. Rosmiati said that the human resources at Madrasah Tasanawiyah Wihdatul Ulum Gowa Regency are 14 people in detail. The first group is in English, the second is in Science, the third is in social.


"And the four religious groups each have four membersThese three people have all received assignment letters based on their fieldsstudies that are being held," he explained.

The lecturer at the FAI UMI Islamic Religious Education study program said that training in article creation and journal publication was carried out for Madrasah Tsanawiyah Wihdatul Ulum teachers in Gowa.


Starting with an opening ceremony attended by the principal of Madrasah Tsanawiayayah Wihdatul Ulum Gowa Regency, teachers and presenters, as well as the implementation team.

In his speech when opening the event, the Head of MTs Wihdatul Ulum expressed his appreciation and appreciation to the Indonesian Muslim University.

In particular, LPKM UMI and the implementation team together with students, for their increasingly constructive initiative and collaboration with our institutional institutions.

As for the achievements of teachers at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Wihdatul Ulum Gowa Dalamjournal submissions in the Islamic Resources journal, amounting to 85%.
