Basic Accounting Training for Madrasah Aliyah DDI Padang Lampe Students

UMI lecturers conduct basic accounting training at Madrasah Aliyah DDI Padanglampe, UMI's assisted village. The aim of this PKM is to provide enriched insight into the development of accounting science and bridge the difficulties in learning accounting subjects for Madrasah Aliyah students at school.

This PKM is considered important because the accounting subject requires special skills that need to be provided to students so they can understand the subject and provide insight if they will later pursue accounting.

Apart from that, with basic accounting training, it is hoped that students will have the basic knowledge to carry out simple accounting records and prepare simple financial reports.

The principal of Madrasah Aliyah DDI Padanglampe, Mr. Sudirman, S.Ag., M.Ag, said that having accounting literacy training for students really helps accounting subject teachers in providing students with an understanding of accounting records and insight into the development of the accounting profession.

Participation: Madrasah Aliyah DDI Padanglampe students were very happy and enthusiastic about the basic accounting training, this was based on smooth discussions and everyone was enthusiastic about discussing what if after graduating from Madrasah Aliyah, they studied accounting majoring.

Furthermore, one of the Madrasah Aliyah DDI Padanglampe teachers said that this PKM should be carried out on an ongoing basis because it really helps students to gain accounting knowledge and the accounting profession in the future.
