The PKM program is one of three mandatory tasks that must be carried out by a lecturer at UMI as a form of the tridharma of higher education. This PKM aims to form a culture of student literacy to foster Islamic character.

This PKM activity takes the form of literacy training to shape the Islamic character of students at SD Inpres Japing District. Gowa was held on Saturday 11 October 2025 and was attended by 28 students.
