
Website and Blog Creation Training for Teachers and Students at SMPN Benteng No. 1 Selayar Islands
Benteng State Middle School No. 1 Selayar Islands has successfully held community service activities in the form ofWebsite and Blog Creation Training for Teachers and Students. This training lasted for three days, from September 30 to October 2, involving 21 students and 13 teachers as participants.
This event was officially opened by the Principal of Benteng No. Middle School. 1 Selayar Islands, Mrs. Arni Aty, S.Pd. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of this training as an effort to broaden digital horizons for students and teachers. "This activity is expected to increase creativity and innovation in the school environment. Students are expected to be able to builddigital portfolio"through their personal blogs, while teachers can utilize artificial intelligence (AI) technology to create learning that is more effective and relevant to current developments," he said.
Apart from that, Mrs. Arni Aty also expressed her appreciation to all the committee and participants who had actively contributed during the training. He added, "This is a good first step to integrate technology in the world of education at SMPN Benteng No. 1 Selayar Islands. We hope that similar activities can continue to be carried out on an ongoing basis."
During the training, students receive practical guidance on how to build a personal website or blog, from a basic introduction to managing creative and useful content. On the other hand, teachers receive training materials related to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in the learning process. The material provided includes an introduction to AI concepts in education, as well as the use of applications andtoolsAI-based to support the creation of teaching materials.
This training is clear evidence of the commitment of Benteng No. Middle School. 1 Selayar Islands in preparing the young generation who are technologically literate and able to compete in the digital era. By mastering information technology, participants are expected to be able to produce innovative works that are beneficial both for education and their personal development.
