Training on HR Management and Digitalization of Financial Records for Tilapia Cultivation Actors in Lanna Village, Parangloe District, Gowa Regency

Gowa – The Indonesian Muslim University (UMI) lecturer team carries out community service activitiesto the Community (PKM) with the theme "Training on HR Management and Digitalization of RecordsFinances of Tilapia Fish Cultivation Actors” in Lanna Village, Parangloe District, Gowa Regency.This activity was chaired by Prof. Dr. Sukmawaty, SE., M.M with team members Umm Kalsum andEdy Susanto. The implementation of this activity is a concrete manifestation of the contribution of higher educationsupports the economic empowerment of the community, especially the fisheries sector which has
great potential in the Gowa region. The activity involved around twenty participantsis a member of the tilapia cultivator group, under the coordination of the Group ChairMitra, H. Ratang.

In the material presented, Prof. Sukmawaty said that capacity strengtheninghuman resources (HR) and implementing digitalization of financial records are stepsstrategic to increase the efficiency and transparency of tilapia cultivation businesses. ThroughIn this training, participants are equipped with basic managerial knowledge and management techniquesdigital-based modern finance, as well as the importance of sustainable business planning.

Training material includes competency-based HR management, introduction to applicationssimple financial recording, and efficient fishery business development strategies*. Teamimplementers also provide direct assistance in using digital tools forrecord cash flow, operational costs and harvest results, so partners can monitor conditionsbusiness finances in real time and accurately. The head of the partner group, H. Ratang, conveyedappreciation to the UMI PKM team for this activity. He emphasized that this training was veryuseful because it helps tilapia farming practitioners understand the importance of recordingStructured finance and HR management.

This activity ended with an interactive discussion session and a simulation of using a note-taking applicationfinance. The participants showed high enthusiasm and hoped that similar activities could be carried outimplemented on an ongoing basis to support capacity building and business competitivenessfisheries in Lanna Village. Through this activity, it is hoped that the tilapia cultivator group inLanna Village is able to manage their business more professionally, transparently andoriented towards the economic sustainability of local communities.
