TECHNOPRENEURSHIP TRAINING TO INCREASE THE COMPETITIVENESS OF LOCAL PRODUCTS IN PADANG LAMPE VILLAGE

UMI Technopreneurship Training Encourages Strengthening the Competitiveness of Local Products in Padanglampe Village

A team of lecturers from the Faculty of Economics and Business carried out Technopreneurship Training activities for the PKK Women's group in Padanglampe Village, Pangkep Regency. The activity was led by Subhan, SE., M.Ak and Dr. Muhammad Fadhil, SE., MM aims to improve the ability of MSME players to utilize technology for product innovation and digital marketing, so that they are able to compete amidst the development of the industrial revolution 5.0.

The training, which took place in the Padanglampe Village Office Hall, provided basic material on technopreneurship, developing product innovation based on local potential, modern business management, and digital marketing strategies. The participants, who were dominated by PKK mothers, enthusiastically took part in practical sessions and discussions, especially regarding the use of digital applications for product design and online marketing. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' abilities in creating innovative products and starting to utilize digital platforms to expand markets.

The community and village government expressed their appreciation for the implementation of this program because it was proven to have a real impact on increasing the capacity of village MSMEs. Technopreneurship training is considered capable of strengthening the role of women in developing micro businesses and encouraging family economic independence. LPkM UMI hopes that this activity will be the first step for the sustainable development of local products that are more competitive and adaptive to technological changes.
