
Community Service (PkM) FEB UMI Lecturer Implements PKK Mother Empowerment Program in Padanglampe Village
Pangkajene and Islands, 16 October 2025 โ Community Service Team (PkM)Accounting Lecturer, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Indonesian Muslim University (UMI)Makassar, through the UMI Community Service Institute (LPkM), implemented itCommunity Service (PkM) activities in Padanglampe Village, Ma'rang District,Pangkajene and Islands Regency (Pangkep).
This activity was carried out by the PkM Team, namely Fifi Nurafifah Ibrahim, SE., M.Ak LecturerAccounting FEB UMI as Chair and Dr. Sutiawati, SH., MH UMI Law Lecturer AsMember. This activity is one part of the UMI Assisted Village programaims to provide adequate sustainability education for the relevant PKK teamsDigital-based financial recording education, providing information about applicationsdigital finance, and assistance and consulting services related to digital finance applications.
In the activity which took place on October 16 2025, the team provided educationwith presentation of material presented during activities and availability of servicesconsultation services and assistance in using digital finance applications.
"We see that on average partners are still recording manually, so weintroducing simple tools such as the BukuWarung application, Excel, or Google Sheetswhich is easily accessible via smartphone. Thus, it is hoped that the perpetrators' mothers"businesses can carry out digital records which can make things easier for them," said the chairmanFifi Nurafifah Ibrahim's PkM team.
Meanwhile, Dr. Sutiawati as a member added that this activity was also athe first step in sustainable collaboration between UMI and the village government in the programcommunity economic empowerment. The Village Head and Padanglampe Village staff welcomedthis activity is good and positive and I hope that the program does not stop here, howevercan continue, so it is continuously useful for increasing knowledgeand welfare of village communities.
