The PKM team consisting of three lecturers from the Faculty of Law, chaired by Mrs. Farah Syah Rezah, SH., MH, raised the theme "Increasing Awareness of Children's Rights & Obligations as Citizens among MA Mizanul Ulum Sanrobone Students, Takalar Regency.
According to the PKM Team Leader, this activity aims to increase students' awareness of their rights and obligations at school. Because currently there are widespread violations of the law in the school environment such as bullying, brawls, acts of violence by teachers, etc. For this reason, it is very important to carry out activities like this so that students can realize and understand their rights and obligations, especially in the school environment.
In this activity, the PKM Team also presented a speaker who was a lecturer at the UMI Faculty of Law, namely Mrs. Dr. Jasmaniar, SH., MH. He stated that students' rights and obligations need to be carried out in a balanced manner to create a fair, safe and conducive learning environment.
The PKM team hopes that this activity can bring good changes for students, especially for those who are selected as agents of change so that they can play an active role in inviting friends or other students, teachers and the community to carry out a campaign to fulfill the rights and obligations of children as citizens.
