PKM STRENGTHENING STUDENTS' COMPETENCIES IN MUAMALAH ISLAM AND TECHNOLOGY IN Islamic Boarding Schools THROUGH CHICKEN CULTIVATION

Bone, 19 October 2025 – Community Service Activities (PKM) were held again by a team of lecturers and studentsby presenting a program with the theme "Strengthening Santripreneur Competencies inMuamalah Islam and Technology in Islamic Boarding Schools through Chicken Cultivation."Located in the environmentIslamic boarding school, this training was attended by 40 students who were enthusiastic about learning the combination of valuesIslam, entrepreneurship, and digital technology for the development of chicken cultivation.

Head of the service team, Ir. Syahrul Mubarak Abdullah, M.Kom, in his speechemphasized that this activity was a real step for lecturers in bringing educationinnovation-based to Islamic boarding schools.

“We hope that this program will be able to foster appropriate entrepreneurial abilities
Sharia. With the santripreneur approach, students not only learn the technicalities of raising livestock, but alsounderstand how to run a business that is halal, transparent and full of trust," he explained.

This activity also involved students from across study programs who accompanied the students during the processtraining. One of the students, Kharisma Suchy, admitted that he had gained a lot of experiencenew.

"We help students get to know digital marketing technology, create promotional designs, etcteaches business recording using computer applications. This program opens up insightus about how technology can support the empowerment of Islamic boarding school communities,"he said.

From the participants' side, Ahmad Fadhlan, one of the students, expressed his gratitude and benefitswhat he got.“At first we didn't understand that chicken cultivation could be managed in a more modern way.

After training, we understand how to set up the cage, calculate feed, etcpromote products via social media. This opens up business opportunities for us inIslamic boarding school," he said.

The head of the Islamic boarding school, Ustadz Abdul Mukhmin, gave great appreciation to the service team.“Programs like this really help Islamic boarding schools in building economic independencestudents. We hope that this collaboration can continue and become a stepping stone for students"become a young entrepreneur who adheres to Islamic values," he said.

During the implementation, participants received training about Islamic muamalah and techniquesmore effective chicken cultivation, use of digital technology, to pre-test evaluation andpost-test. The evaluation results show very good improvement, with an average posttest scorereached 89.7 percent, indicating that the participants succeeded in absorbing the material provided.

It is hoped that this PKM activity will be the initial foundation for Islamic boarding schools in developing unitsstudent-based business. A combination of spirituality, technical skills and digital technologyis a strategic step to produce students who are independent, creative and ready to facemodern economic challenges.
