UMI lecturer team: PKK Tamalanrea Jaya Education Using Used Cooking Oil Waste

Ministry of Education, Culture and Technology Through Programs"Impact Science and Technology Education" Collaborating with Service InstituteTo the Community (LPkM) UMI Makassar in Community Service.

Collaborative service activities between LPkM UMI and groupsTamalanrea Jaya Village PKK through oil processing educationused cooking water becomes paper soap.

In his presentation, Prof. Aktsar explained thatUtilizing waste cooking oil is one effort tomaintain the sustainability of the surrounding environment. In addition, this waste canconverted into useful products by processing methodsrelatively easy.

Meanwhile, Try Sasbianto, SE, as Head of Talanrea Jaya Village,expressed high appreciation to the UMI Makassar LPkM Team. Heassessed that this activity was very much in line with the President's Asta Cita visionPrabowo Subianto and supports the environmental programs being promotedby the Mayor of Makassar.

Also attending this activity was Rosmiati Amd. Kep asChairman of the PKK and together with PKK cadres, Tamalanrea Jaya Village.

This activity was also carried out in collaboration with students andBEM Faculty of Pharmacy.
