Vision of LPkM UMI

"To become a leading service institution in increasing faith and piety as well as benefiting the people and society"

UMI LPkM mission

1. Carry out community service based on Islamic values, science and professionalism.
2. Building society in an effort to increase faith and piety based on the Qur'an and Hadith;
3. Improving the quality of life of people and society through the development of Education, Health and Welfare.

Goals and targets to be achieved in the next 5 (five) years

1. Realizing the planning, implementation and coordination of Community Service (PkM) activities in the form of   the application and development of science and technology within UMI Makassar in the form of PKM  for community prosperity and increasing the nation's competitiveness;
2. Coordinating  resources   resources   from   various   faculties, study programs and  Study Centers within  UMI Makassar in carrying out PKM activities;
3. Coordinating the output management activities of PKM activities in the form of Publications, Registration of Intellectual Property Rights and Commercialization of products;
4. Increasing the relevance of  PKM   activities   to the quality of learning and community needs.
5. Coordinating activities and providing guidance at PKM activity centers in the form of Application and Development of Science and Technology within the UMI Makassar environment;
6. Coordinating PKM resources to increase capabilities in carrying out PKM activities as well as developing and implementing science and technology so that they have sensitivity and innovation power in anticipating environmental phenomena and scientific needs;
7. Developing a documentation and information system for PKM activities within UMI Makassar;
8. Increasing collaboration with partner institutions both national and international.
