LPkM UMI Holds Training on Making PKM Proposals for the 2026 AKSARA Student Program

Makassar, July 30, 2026– Community Service Institution The Community (LPkM) of the Indonesian Muslim University (UMI) organizedTraining Making 2026 Student AKSARA Program PKM Proposalson Thursday (30/7/2026). This activity is one of the strategic efforts of LPkM UMI improve the quality and quantity of Community Partnership Program (PKM) proposals proposed by UMI lecturers for funding from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Ministry of Science and Technology).

Activities officially opened by the Chairman of LPkM UMI,Prof. Dr. H. Baharuddin Semmaila, S.E., M.Sc.In his speech, he emphasized that this training become a forum for strengthening the capacity of lecturers in preparing PKM proposals quality, innovative, and has a great opportunity to obtain funding national.

Prof. Baharuddin Semmaila hopes that this training can provide understanding more comprehensive regarding the preparation of proposals in accordance with the latest guidelines, so that in the future there will be more lecturers, especially from Muslim Universities Indonesia, which successfully passed the Ministry of Education and Technology's PKM funding program.

"We We hope that this activity will not only increase lecturers' competence in compiling proposals, but is also able to produce more superior proposals make a real contribution to society and improve UMI's achievements in national level," he said.

Training This was attended by the Secretary of the UMI LPkM, the Heads of the UMI LPkM Centers (Kapus), as well as lecturer representatives from13 facultiesat the Indonesian Muslim University with as many participants as possible39 people. Attendance of participants shows the high enthusiasm of lecturers in preparing service proposals competitive and high quality.

After opening, the activity continued with the delivery of material byIr. St. Hajrah Mansyur, S.Kom., M.Cs.In his presentation, he provided various strategy for preparing PKM proposals that are in accordance with the AKSARA Program scheme, starting fromidentification of problems, preparation of needs-based solutions community, to techniques for preparing outputs that meet assessment indicators.

Apart discussing the technical aspects of proposal writing, the resource person also provided motivation to all participants to continue to be enthusiastic in preparing service proposals. According to him, success in obtaining funding is not only determined by the quality of the idea, but also by consistency, persistence, and the will to continue make improvements based on the evaluation results.

Through This training, LPkM UMI hopes to increase the readiness of lecturers in take part in the 2026 AKSARA Program PKM grant competition and enlarge opportunity for Indonesian Muslim University to gain more funding from Ministry of Education and Technology. In line with UMI's commitment to supporting the implementation of Tri Dharma of Higher Education, this activity is expected to produce results innovative, impactful and community service programs sustainable.
