LPMD UMI Holds KKN Angk. 57

UMI Makassar – The Institute for Community Service and Da'wah (LPMD) of the Indonesian Muslim University carried out training for UMI KKN students angk.57 which took place for 5 classes at campus V Pondok Tahfidz Lanraki UMI at Km.17. From 23 to 27 October 2016, 250 participants attended each class and the total number of 57 KKN participants was approximately 1250, this was stated by Dr. H Abd Rauf Assgaf .M.Pd at the opening of the briefing which was attended by the Chancellor of UMI and the head of the KKN Center Ir Kadir Salim MT.

UMI Chancellor Prof. Dr. Hj Masrurah Mokhtar in his speech said that UMI's empowerment program from a scientific perspective was implemented, including a lot of education and da'wah with socio-economic empowerment programs for village communities and especially assisted villages.

It was also said that community service through KKN is one of the university's Tri Dharma programs as a form of service responsibility to help the community from the various complexities of problems faced with strategic solutions in accordance with my son's scientific basics. At the same time, you can also learn from those who have experience to further improve the quality of your knowledge.

"You are present in their midst and become part of them by carrying the great name of UMI as an institution of service and preaching. You are present with noble morals as UMI students," he hoped.

Meanwhile, KTU LPMD Hj Asni E said that the two-day loyal group presented material and practice, including social morals, socialization of UMI's vision and mission. The philosophy of service learning in higher education.

"Assessment and reporting system, enlightenment of the heart in relation to PPM, procedures for preparing programs, procedures for carrying out funerals, methods of da'wah, deepening of sharia aqidah and morals and wirid dhikr and their benefits," said this UMI alumnus.
