Entrepreneurship Training for SPD/TPD Village Partners Assisted by Indonesian Muslim University Held in East Luwu
East Luwu, 23 September 2026โ Indonesian Muslim University (UMI) through the Community Service Institute (LPKM) implementsEntrepreneurship Training for Village Service Scholars (SPD)/Village Service Personnel (TPD) in Partner Villages of Indonesian Muslim University. This activity took place onSeptember 23, 2026located atMadinah Al-Munawwarah Modern Islamic Boarding School, East Luwu Regency.
This training was attended by30 SPD/TPD peoplefrom UMI's partner villages. This activity is part of UMI's efforts to strengthen the capacity of village assistants, especially in developing community entrepreneurial potential and encouraging the birth of productive economic activities that can support independence and improve the welfare of village communities.
The activity was attended bytraining resource persons, Secretary of the UMI LPKM, Head of the Assisted Village Center, and the UMI LPKM team. The presence of these various elements shows LPKM UMI's commitment to providing sustainable assistance to the assisted partner villages.
In the training, participants gain material and insight into entrepreneurship, developing business potential, utilizing local resources, as well as strategies for developing business opportunities that suit the characteristics and needs of village communities.
Through this activity, it is hoped that SPD/TPD will not only have an understanding of the concept of entrepreneurship, but will also be able to apply this knowledge in the community assistance process in their respective villages. Village assistants are expected to be able to help the community identify local potential that can be developed into economically valuable products or businesses.
Apart from increasing the capacity of companions, this training is also expected to strengthen synergy betweenIndonesian Muslim University,ย Bachelor of Village Service (SPD)/Village Service Personnel (TPD) of Muslim University Partner Villages. This collaboration is an important part in realizing a sustainable community empowerment program based on local potential.
The UMI LPKM Secretary together with the Head of the Assisted Village Center and the LPKM team also emphasized the importance of continuing mentoring after training. It is hoped that the knowledge and skills obtained by participants can be passed on to the community so that they have a real impact on business development and the village economy.
This entrepreneurship training is a real form of commitmentIndonesian Muslim University through LPKMin carrying out the role of universities in community empowerment. UMI continues to encourage partner villages to be able to optimize their potential through innovation, entrepreneurship and strengthening community capacity.
By carrying out this activity, it is hoped that SPD/TPD will be better prepared to act as a driver and companion for the community in developing the village's economic potential, thereby creating a village that is more independent, productive, innovative and sustainable.
