Socialization of Sharia Economics through the Tanwirul Qulub Taklim Council as an Effort to Empower the Economy of the People of Padanglampe Village, Ma'rang District, Pangkep Regency

Padanglampe Village is one of the villages located in Ma'rang District, Pangkep Regency and is a village supported by the Indonesian Muslim University.

The Service Team from the UMI Faculty of Islamic Religion made the Tanwirul Qulub Taklim assembly group located in Padanglampe Village a service partner with the theme Sharia Economic Socialization as an Effort to Empower the People which was attended by around 30 people.

This activity will take place on 2 and 22 October 2025 at the Ahmad Mosque, Al Humaidy which is at the location of the flagship Darul Mukhlisin Student Islamic Boarding School, Padanglampe Pangkep.

There were 4 presenters for this socialization activity, Dr H. Wahyuddin Hafid, Lc, MA, Dr H. Abbas Ali Mayo, MA, Dra Hj. St Samsuduha, MA and Andi Hasriani S.Ag., M.Ag. Dra Hj Siti Samsuduha as head of the lecturer team at the Faculty of Islamic Religion, Sharia Economic Law Department and member Andi Hasriani S.Ag., M.Ag.

According to St. Samsuduha, through this activity it is hoped that the congregation of the Majlis Taklim can better understand the importance of zakat, alms, infaq and the basic principles of sharia economics such as the prohibition of usury, the importance of fairness in transactions, as well as the implementation of sharia contracts in accordance with sharia economic law. The hope is that this understanding will provide provisions for managing the family and community economy in a more blessed and sustainable manner.

It is hoped that this program will increase awareness and active participation of the community through the taklim assembly in supporting halal and fair transactions. Sharia economic socialization through the taklim assembly can also open up access for micro business actors to obtain information, training, and even opportunities for collaboration with sharia financial institutions, cooperatives, or BMT. Thus, this activity is part of a collective effort to build independence and economic prosperity for the people based on Islamic values.

The taklim assembly is very enthusiastic about participating in this program and the Chair of the taklim assembly representing the mothers who take part in the socialization activities hopes that this activity can continue because it is very beneficial for the community, especially the taklim assembly group which is in direct contact with financial problems.
