
Development of an Independent Service System in Optimizing Services at the Buki Village Office, Buki District
On Tuesday, October 1 2024, in Community Service (PkM) activities atBuki Village Office, Buki District, member of the Computer Science Faculty Service Team, Ir.Purnawansyah, M.Kom and Ir. Abd. Rachman Manga', S.Kom., MT, provided assistanceto society. This activity is carried out to provide education to devicesvillage regarding the self-service system developed by the service team.
The Self-Service System is an innovation aimed at overcoming various problemsproblems in public services, such as the length of the document submission process andlack of openness in service delivery. This system enables societyto access administration services online by inputting your Identification NumberPopulation (NIK). The service team from the Faculty of Computer Science implemented the project"Implementation of a Self-Service System for Administrative Efficiency in Buki Village,Buki District, Selayar Islands” to provide a system at the village office, whichfacilitate use by village officials and the community in administrative processes inBuki village office, Buki District, Selayar Islands.
Efficient service and no delays is the aim of its existencePkM activities carried out. Where the expected service is the communitycan apply for various needs, such as processing certificates and paymentstaxes, directly through the existing system without the need to come to the village office.Apart from that, the public can easily obtain information about servicesvillage. The system developed will provide training to village officials becauselack of operator understanding in managing the Buki Village administration website inBuki District, Selayar Islands.
The use of this program is expected to improve the quality of services providedby the village government and existing self-service systems. Mr Huzain whois a village official, expressed his optimism that the service systemIndependence is not only beneficial for village office officers but also for the wider community.Village leaders and service staff must interact effectively to ensuredevelopment of this system continues.
